Abstract: Areflectiontypepolarizationmaintainopticalfibertemperaturesensorwasdesigned.The operationprinciplewasintroducedandthesensingequationwasgiven.Analysisindicatedthatthe propagationlossvarietywasthemainfactorwhichmadesensingequationparameterschange.So,inthe applicationfieldwheretheopticalpathstructureofsensormightbere-assembled,theparameters calibrationwasnecessary.Basedonthecharacteristicandtherelationofsensoropticalsectionoutput signalandthesensingequationparameters,thepropagationlosscouldbeseparatedfromthesensor initializationparametersandasimpleandpracticalfieldcalibrationmethod,withwhichthewholesensing equationparameterscouldbecalibratedwhenthetemperatureatthesensorprobewasgiven,was proposedandthecalculationequationwasestablished.Anexperimentalsensorsystemwasbuiltandthe calibrationexperimentsweremadebychangingthepropagationloss.Thedateobtainedwereanalyzed andcomparedwithpolynomialfittingandmodelcalculation.Theresultprovesthefieldcalibration technologyandthesensingtemperatureprecisioncanbebetterthanupanddown0.5℃beforeandaftercalibration.
